National Moment of Silence Rally
The Rev. Jesse Jackson spoke during a National Moment of Silence vigil held in downtown Greenville Aug. 14, 2014. About 200 people, including Jackson, gathered on the plaza in front of the Peace Center for the Performing Arts to observe a moment of silence for Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old black man shot and killed by a police officer near an apartment complex Saturday in Ferguson, Mo.
